No experience here, but Procharger had a Ram, Charger and Magnum with 6 psi kits at the '06 SEMA show. All were using Unichip software (piggyback IIRC) and a ninth injector like the GSM kit. Art (Henson) and I talked to the guy at Unichip, and supposedly they were going to make a plug-n-play version which would eliminate the need for the ninth injector by providing the ability to tune spark, timing and fuel with upgraded injectors. I haven't done any further research at this point, but I'll see what I can find out.

I live practically down the street (on a national level) from Procharger. There's 5 running around here in town, one is for sale by the Service Manager of a dealership. I will be checking that one out as soon as the weather gets good, and visiting Procharger as well. My old contact (Mark@Procharger) is MIA, I'm led to believe he's not on that project anymore, or just not there at all. But the "SM" at the dealership gave me a new contact. Will keep you posted.

Almost did it but Scott from THS talked be out of it Shame on you when I was getting my heads and cam done. Told me they were rebuilding a couple of bottom ends on some 6.1's and a 5.7 truck. all were running only 6 lbs. of boost. Said I could put it on but "YOU'LL BE SORRY".Anxious

It's gotta be from detonation, but I thought the SMT6 could pull timing? What are your plans for that kit?Think Put it on! If it blows, build a stroker. :)

I'd rather build a stroker myself. Something about an N/A motor... but I still love and respect turbo's.

I would still need the forged parts in the bottom-end if I'm running anything 5 lbs of boost or above and that brings up a question of anyone running a SC'ed unit on a stock short block how long have you run it and what specs ie boost, controller, make...

Bummer! I was talking to a buddy of mine last night at the wife's work. He bought a '97 Cobra from a recently divorced woman. There was also a Procharger that had not been installed SHE wanted and additional $4500 for. Long story short, the husband ended up selling him the kit for $100. Some people have all the luck.

Still snowing up here on and off, only had one good day for temperatures. Still waiting for a good day to go look at that Procharged Ram. They won't let anyone touch it in this weather unless they have a $42k check.

Yeah, they're out apparently. I posted some pics of it over on HTC. They're just running an extra injector on the throttle body like most, and Unichip is governing the system. Other than that, that's it. They're not even running a programmer on their systems. Nothing for tranny.

The big boost kit is supposed to be about 475hp I guess, or something around there. Though I thought the trannies wouldn't last long behind that kinda power, there's apparently one around here that already has 20k miles on a big boost kit, stock QC 4x4 otherwise.

I guess I'll have to put my GS motorsport Paxton on here pretty soon and big boost since I have it. Could always put a waste gate on to protect against over boost do you know what the Procharger big boost kits psi?

I believe 9psi, but don't quote me. I know that 500 crank hp was the limit they were going for. They believe that's when things start breaking on an otherwise completely stock truck.
