Anyone know where I might be able to score an '05+ Ram SRT-10 rear axle with the 4.56 gears? Seems like this might be an easy swap along with new leaf packs.

Last I talked to Art (couple weeks?), he thought Scott still had one or two.

If not, ship me yours. I'll grab shsuIIs and ship it to ya. He's getting pretty serious about parting that thing out.

Not really a near-term mod (just putting out feelers). I'm going to have to find custom progressive leaf packs that'll fit the 1500 mounts and the D60 while giving me the lift/travel I want. The SRT springs are too low.

Any idea what the SRT axles are going for?

Man, if I had the time, expertise, and resources, I would. Kinda short on all three right now. Too many irons in the fire...

4.56 gears I considered seriously as my first mod.
reasons I decided against it:
cost- I own a 4x4
loss in milaege?- not sure?
The defining reason was my father does own an 05 srt-10 (nice truck) and after driving it, V-10, 500 horses, 4.56 gears. Just wasn't really all that impressed with the take-off. Now after it gets going it pulls STRONG!

Now, I realize I'm not giving you any info on what needs to be considered. And I know the D60 is a damn fine set-up (perhaps the best) but IMO, it really wasn't that impressive. But I realize the main reason it makes good sense is you can throw more power to it and you won't have to worry about breaking it.

That, and my selectable locker options would be much, much better.

Yea, that's a damn shame too. Beautiful truck. What's he going to ask for the Srt-10 axle? I have 4.56 gears in my quad, take off is great, but I think the Srt-10 axle is a better unit (plus it has bigger brakes!) Did he have to get a custom shaft made for it?
